Principal Officers


She was born in Lagos on the 29th of A2pril, 1953. She attended the Anglican Girls School, Lagos between1959-1965 for her primary education and both the Methodist Girls’ High School, Yaba and Queens College, Yaba, Lagos, for her secondary education between 1966-1972. She proceeded to University of Alexandria (Faculty of Medicine), Egypt (1973-1978); Debrecen Medical University, Debrecen, Hungary (1981-1984) and Medilag Consult, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos (2000-2001) respectively for her tertiary education. She obtained her GCE ‘O’ level/WASC 1970; HSC/GCE Á’ Level, 1972; MBCH, 1978 and PGD Hospital Management, 2001.

In 2007, she was appointed as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on HIV/AIDS & CEO, Lagos State AIDS Control Agency (LSACA). She had earlier served as Medical Director, Gbagada General Hospital (2001); Medical Director/CEO, Randle General Hospital (1999); Chairman of Diet Committee of Ikeja General Hospital (1993-199); Head of Anesthesia Department, Ikeja General Hospital, now LASUTH (1999) among other responsibilities during her sojourn in the L8agos State Public Service.

As the MD of Randle Health Centre, She facilitated the establishment of a male surgical ward and commenced operation through a visiting surgeon in 1999. The Health Centre was upgraded to a full-fledged General Hospital with a Dental Centre during her tenure. At the Gbagada General Hospital, she also resuscitated the Dialysis Centre, purchased two functional dialysis machines and converted the unutilized wing of the main theater to a 16-bed well equipped ward for female medical and surgical patients in 2001.

She is a prominent member of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) amongst other professional and social organizations as well a recipient of many meritorious awards. Dr. Dabiri whose hobbies include reading novels, watching indigenous Nigerian movies and watching football, is happily married and blessed with lovely children.
